I assume that in the where's Maggie mini game you simply tap on her when you find her, but It's not working

Every time I find Magie in the mini game, I tap on her and nothing happens. I tap the heck out of my iPad and time just keeps winding down until it says oh well, better luck next time. What am I doing wrong?
