Why won't the Easter event start?

I allready had the easter bunny from the previous year. After reading the walktrough of the event I realised the egg hutn should already have been started. But after the quest 'make homer thnik about being jewish' everything ends. And my bunny from the previous year has been disapeared. What can I do know?

The egg hunt only took place on Easter Sunday. It has passed now meaning you can't do it. The bunny should still be in your Springfield, it's probably just hard to locate.
