It really depends on what you want to buy. If you really want a certain premium item, then yes. However, there are also limited time premium items during events so you also have to think about whether you want to wait and see what those are in case there's one you really want or if you want to buy the premium item you wanted before the event.
In other words, it's entirely your own decision and no one can tell you either way.
